Professional Learning Certificate Programs

Innovative Learning is dedicated to the development and enhancement of teaching and learning across the institution. This semester, we are offering three certificates geared towards professional learning. These certificates are related to adult teaching and provide employees with the opportunity to further develop essential teaching and facilitation practices and skills.

There are no fees associated with these programs for active Humber employees.

The Digital Documents Accessibility Training (DDAT) certificate program provides participants with the ability to recognize the different legislation and guidelines related to accessibility and apply those guidelines to digital content and documents. You will learn the fundamentals of creating accessible digital content and documents, and modifying inaccessible content to comply with accessibility standards. Register

The Teaching Effectiveness Certificate (TEC) program is designed for those interested in the field of teaching or training. The courses within this certificate program provide participants with an opportunity to develop essential teaching competencies by exploring and applying effective practices in teaching and learning. Register

The Teaching in a Digital World Certificate (TDWC) program is designed to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners with varying degrees of teaching experience in the online and/or hybrid environment.
