I am pleased to let you know about two recent accreditations within the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellness.

I am proud to announce that the Massage Therapy Advanced Diploma Program recently received full accreditation status until 2024. These fantastic results are attributed to the hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence, of the professors, staff, and administration involved in the program, and I offer my sincere thanks for a job well done. Below is a direct quote from the accreditation review document.

On behalf of the board and staff at the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation, we are very pleased to inform you that the Massage Therapy Program at Humber College has been awarded five-year accreditation. We extend our sincere congratulations on this stellar achievement and on your participation in the CMTCA accreditation process. The implementation of this process across Canada marked an important and historic milestone in the massage therapy field and we commend you for being part of it.

I want to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the entire Massage Therapy faculty and support staff, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Sciences and Innovative Learning, Program Planning Development and Renewal, and the administration team for their tireless commitment to ensuring our accreditation submissions, site visits, and ongoing dialogues throughout this process were demonstrative of excellence, and comprehensively descriptive of all that we do here at Humber.

I am also proud to announce that our Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) – Ontario Graduate Certificate has been awarded a five-year accreditation term (the highest achievement possible). The accreditation team commended the program, the facilities, and the faculty and staff on this achievement. 

Of particular importance, the reviewers noted the program has a 100 per cent success rate on the licensure examinations, year over year, and these exemplary results differentiate our program across the country.

I want to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the entire ACP professor, program advisor, and support staff group, Program Planning Development and Renewal, and our faculty administration team for their commitment to ensuring our program is demonstrative of excellence. It is clear the entire team worked tirelessly to ensure these excellent results, and we can all be proud.

I am so proud to be part of this amazing Faculty and the excellent work that is demonstrated each and every day – you are ALL to be commended here!!
