Security Alert - Thefts

The Toronto Police Service and the Department of Public Safety are investigating two separate theft incidents involving a common suspect.

On January 16th, 2017 between 12:13 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. an unknown male entered various office areas, including GH and M building, and is believed to have stolen an employee’s wallet and another employee’s cash from their wallet at their desk.    

The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, approximately 5’9”, in their mid 50’s, short grey hair, wearing dark rimmed glasses, a blue plaid shirt over a t-shirt, dark pants and dark coloured work boots. 

The Department of Public Safety would remind everyone to ensure that valuables are out of sight and secured.  If you see any suspicious behaviour please report these activities to Public Safety at 416.675.8500 or the Toronto Police Service, 23 Division at 416.808.2300 or Crime Stoppers at 416.222.8477.
