We are offering the Security Guard Licensing Preparatory Course during the Fall 2020 term.
The course fee is regularly $333.90, however, students within the Faculty of Social and Community Services will be able to register for the discounted price of $200.00.
Please note: the discounted fee is not applicable to international students.

Attendance
For the online option, all students will still need to complete the mandatory minimum of 45 hours of training, which translates into 7.5 hours a week of online work.
Upon successful completion of the course you will be issued a training completion number which will allow you to write your licensing exam.
CPR Level C and Emergency First Aid Training
This course requires the Emergency First Aid and CPR training which, in normal circumstances, would take place at Lakeshore campus. Due to the current restrictive situation, we are unable to offer it on campus yet. However, this is still mandatory to get the training number upon completion of the course. For this reason, you can take the CPR Level C and Emergency First Aid Training with another provider. You can find a list of approved providers of this training at the following link.
Once you have completed your CPR Level C and Emergency First Aid Training, please, send digital copy of your completed CPR Level C/Emergency First Aid certificate to ce-sscs@humber.ca and we will give you instructions to getting a $60 reimbursement for completing the training elsewhere.
If you already have a valid Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C training certificate, please provide us with a copy via email and we will exempt you from the training day.

Please note that payment for this course will be required within 48 hours of registration, to avoid late penalties. Payment can be made on humber.ca/myhumber.
