Statement of Condolence

The Humber College and University of Guelph-Humber communities are upset and saddened by the events that took place along the Danforth yesterday.

On Tuesday, July 24, flags at all campuses will be flown at half-mast out of respect for the victims of this terrible incident and their families. Our thoughts are with them, as well as the first responders, witnesses and everyone else impacted. Those on the scene – first responders and witnesses alike - exhibited great bravery and compassion.

Humber and U of G-H are committed to supporting all members of our community. If needed, students are encouraged to seek support from the Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre (humber.ca/student-life/swac).

Employees can contact the Employee Assistance Program.

For those wishing to donate blood, visit blood.ca/en/donate to find a clinic close to you.

It is during difficult times like these that the Humber and Guelph-Humber communities have shown our ability to come together for each other and for the people of Toronto.
