Steve Bellamy, Dean for the School of Creative and Performing Arts

It is my great pleasure to announce the appointment of Steve Bellamy as Humber’s incoming Dean for the School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCAPA).  You will all know Steve as a valued member of the Humber team since 2007.  Steve is currently the Associate Dean of SCAPA and Founder/President of Addo Records Inc.

Steve brings to the Dean’s position a wealth of experience as a professor, music producer and academic administrator.  His many career successes include more than 25 years of postsecondary experience, the recording of more than 100 albums of jazz and classical music (with several Juno and Opus winning and nominated albums among them), and the presentation of numerous papers and lectures.  He holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Prince Edward Island and a Master of Music from McGill University in Montreal.  Steve has won numerous academic and research awards, and he is currently a PhD candidate at York University in Toronto.

I invite you to join me in congratulating Steve on this well-deserved appointment.  He will take on this new role as of July 2nd, 2015.

Steve, I look forward to working with you in this new role.
