Humber College and the University of Guelph-Humber participate annually in the Take your Kids to Work program. This program is typically an in-person, on campus event for children of employees who are attending high school, to get a first-hand glimpse of the world of work and in particular, the many careers at Humber. 

This year and due to the impact of COVID-19, Humber College will not be participating in the on-campus Learning Partnership program for 2020. We look forward to participating in the program in 2021. 

This program, organized through a Canadian charity, The Learning Partnership (www.learningpartnership.ca), is the most recognized career exploration event in Canada. Participants typically enjoy an experiential learning opportunity with the help and support of a number of departments and faculties throughout the institution bringing career opportunities ‘to life’.

For your information, CISCO Canada is hosting a virtual Take Your Kids to STEM Day. This virtual event for high school students is taking place on November 4 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. For additional details and to register for this event, please visit the recent Communiqué announcement.
