Textbook Reminder for Fall 2020

We realize that it is only week three of the summer term, but with announcement of the mix of interative online and on-campus academic delivery for programs and courses in Fall 2020, we require your course material requests earlier than in previous years. To this end, we require your requests by June 12. If we receive these later there is no guarantee we will have all the options available for the Fall term.

The additional time will allow us to:

  • Research and provide digital alternatives in either or both PDF version and Adaptive Learning/Homework Management versions for as many courses as possible. Note: not all publishers have their materials available in a digital format, but we are working with a large number to get digital options loaded into our back office systems to provide these. In addition, not all publishers provide us with direct digital access to provide access codes electronically. Some provide us with printed access cards which we ship to students, but in cases where timely/affordable shipping is problematic or impossible, we can open card and send the code by email.
  • We need to research and verify each ISBN for each format, along with the price of each options.
  • Research and provide ways to deliver our course pack product. A number of these vendors are not currently open but should be for fall. Research whether or not we can provide a potential digital alternatives.
  • For custom products, we are working with publishers to deliver both print and/or digital versions.
  • Researching ways in which to provide both print and digital options to international students who decided to stay internationally for the semester. We want to be able to provide cost effective and timely delivery options.

We are working with our vendors on ways to deliver our program related kits to students via shipping or a form of curbside pick up.
