On behalf of the Department of Public Safety, we would like to thank the Humber community for generously supporting our third annual Santa911 Cops for Kids Toy Drive (#Santa9114Kids). Because of your generous support, children from the local area will receive a toy this Christmas morning when they otherwise may not have. Toys collected at the North Campus were delivered to Toronto Police's 23 Division, and toys collected at the Lakeshore Campus were delivered to 22 Division, who will ensure that they get distributed to children in need in time for Christmas.
Special thanks to Public Safety Coordinators David Yen, Adnan Salam (North) and Keith Pua (Lakeshore) for organizing the drive at each campus. Thanks also to our friends in Campus Services, ITS and Marketing and Communications for their generous support in helping collect heaps of toys to add to the donation bins.
We look forward to doing it all again next year!
