Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning is pleased to announce the appointment of Wanda Buote as Principal of Lakeshore Campus, effective September, 2012, reporting to Chris Whitaker, President.

Wanda has worked at Humber for the last 23 years in progressive senior roles within the School of Business and the International Centre. In her most recent role as Associate Dean, The Business School Lakeshore, she was responsible for International Partnerships, Centres of Excellence, the University of Guelph-Humber, Paralegal Degree, two year Accounting Diploma and the Professional Golf Management Diploma program. Additionally, she was responsible for the recruitment and selection of faculty, leading and developing a team of program coordinators and support staff, enhancing established programs and plan potential new programming, marketing and promoting academic programming and working with partner groups including the development and renewal of articulation and study abroad agreements. In her new role as Principal, Wanda will be responsible for overseeing the operations, municipal government relations and future capital development of the Lakeshore Campus.

Wanda holds a Bachelor of Education (Adult Education) from Brock University and has completed her Masters of Business Administration (Executive Management) from Royal Roads University.
