University of Alberta Assistant Professor Matthew Wildcat breaks down the history and meaning of Canadian treaties with Indigenous people. He explains that we are all treaty people and that everyone has a role to play in upholding the rights and freedoms treaties represent. Wildcat is a member of the Ermineskin Cree Nation located in central Alberta.
