Species-At-Risk in the Urban Jungle

Did you know that Toronto is home to lots of amazing rare and threatened animals? Learn about some of the species-at-risk that share your city, your neighborhood, or even your home! From Chimney Swifts to Red-sided Dace, the Toronto area contains far more amazing biodiversity than most people realize, and there are concrete steps you can take to help protect them!

Join guest Emily Rondel from the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority for this lunch hour ArbTalk. Feel free to bring a lunch to eat during the talk.

When: Thursday, January 23 at 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Centre for Urban Ecology, Humber Arboretum (The Centre for Urban Ecology is the glass building with the red door on the Humber Arboretum grounds; the Arboretum is located at the south end of North Campus, across from the Parking Lot 1 exit – Directions)  

How: This event is free but please register through the Arboretum website to help us plan.
