Bringing in the Bystander Workshop

The Bringing in the Bystander program at Humber College and the University of Guelph-Humber offers a (2) hour workshop that teaches bystanders how to safely intervene where an incident of sexual violence may be occurring or where there may be risk. Through in-depth discussion of issues and role-playing of common violence scenarios, participants come to understand how they play a part in proactively preventing sexual and relationship violence, how they can help survivors get the help and support they need, and how they can contribute to the creation of a campus climate that reflects a commitment to safety for all.

Workshops are open to all staff/faculty. Winter 2018 workshops will be taking place on:

  • Tuesday, February 6th 2018 | 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. | North Campus, D218
  • Wednesday, February 7th 2018 | 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. | Lakeshore Campus, L1009
