Cannabis Legalization Anniversary Discussion: Harm Reduction and Youth Consumption

To mark the fourth anniversary of cannabis legalization in Canada, we invite you to attend our hybrid event, Innovations in Harm Reduction for Youth Cannabis Use. We will showcase Canadian cannabis research and education projects designed for and with youth. Five lightning presentations will share new developments in harm reduction, youth-led approaches, and how to be inclusive of the diverse needs of youth who use cannabis. This event will bring together youth experts, advocates, community organizations, and researchers from across the country. Come hear about what’s new and what’s next in youth cannabis use harm reduction!

The event will take place in-person at Humber College's Lakeshore Campus, and will also be simulcast online. Light refreshments will be served.

Sign up for the in-person session. To register to attend online, please email Kulwinder Kaur, an RA on our project.

Hosted by: Dr. Daniel Bear (Humber College), Dr. Rebecca Haines-Saah (University of Calgary), and Dr. Emily Jenkins (University of British Columbia), in partnership with the Humber Centre for Social Innovation.
