As part of Humber's Career Month, Advising and Career Services presents Career Conversations. This month we will have two virtual events.

Career Conversations for Equity Deserving Groups
March 28 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

In partnership with Seneca College, hear from our diverse panelists as they share career conversations on their career journey and learn about the tools and strategies they use to maintain mental well-being while thriving through change.

The theme is keys to maintaining mental well-being while thriving through change.

2SLGBTQ+ Career Conversations: Faculty of Social and Community Service Alumni Panel
March 29 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

This event seeks to acknowledge the inequities and systemic barriers that 2SLGBTQ+ learners face, and to help prepare our learners for entering the job market and pursuing a meaningful career after graduation.

This year's panel will be centered on alumni from the Faculty of Social and Community Services.

Topics for both events will include:

  • How to navigate challenges along the way
  • Tips to maintain mental well-being during post-secondary and career transitions
  • What strategies to use for building community
  • What are lessons learned and some advice for your career success

Both virtual events will also be streamed in the LGBTQ+ and BSSE Resource Centre for students to watch as a group.

Students who register and attend will be entered in our weekly and grand prize draw ($50 to $300 prize).
