Ryan Truesdell and the Gil Evans Centennial Project with the Humber Faculty jazz Orchestra

Join us as we explore the incredibile uniqueness and beauty of the music of arguably the most influential composer-arranger of the 20th century, Gil Evans, on the 100th anniversary of his birth in Toronto!! There will be open workshops at 4:30 p.m. each day, and a public concert
on Friday evening,October 19, at 8 pm in our auditorium, when we explore his Claude Thornhill days, Miles Ahead and Porgy & Bess albums, and more from the 1960's.
