CTL: Part-time Faculty Orientation to Teaching at Humber Part One

The Part-time Faculty Orientation is especially helpful for individuals that are new to Humber and to the role of faculty. Participation in the following sessions will help individuals feel better prepared for teaching at Humber.

There are two parts to the faculty orientation.  Part One is described below.

Part One

  • Overview of Humber College, a glimpse into Humber’s student population, Humber services, resources for faculty and students, and faculty teaching processes and procedures
  • A “Survival Kit” for all participants that includes the Faculty Handbook, campus map, Student Code of Conduct, important phone numbers and more
