Daybreak Boardgame Drop-In

Do you have what it takes to save the planet?

Daybreak is a cooperative board game where players take on the role of various countries and regions of the world that need to work together to tackle the climate crisis.

The UN's International Day of Clean Energy was last week, but that turned out to be a snow day at Humber. So now we're celebrating clean energy on February 2, which also happens to be Groundhog Day and World Wetlands Day. Staff from Humber and University of Guelph-Humber Library and Humber Arboretum invite you to drop by the third floor of the LRC to play some Daybreak, learn some wetland facts, and explore some of the many resources you can check out of the library (including boardgames!).

What: Daybreak Drop-in

When: Monday, February 2, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (revised day AND time)

Who: All are welcome! (Students, staff, and the general public)

Where: North Campus, Learning Resource Commons (LRC), Third Floor

How: This event is free but space to play Daybreak is limited.

Spots at the game tables will be available on a first-come, first-seated basis, but we fully expect people will swap in and out, so come by any time and we will do our best to get you into the game for as long as you like. (You are also welcome to just stop by to watch and explore the resources.)
