Are you interested in learning about aging in the community? Do you have an innovative idea but are unsure if it could work? Are you looking for a new way to do things? If yes, join our session!

The Office of Research & Innovation invites faculty and staff to explore this hot topic. Your expertise and insights are invaluable to advance knowledge and partnership development in this research pillar. We want to hear your voice on these topics.

Examples of areas of interest:

  • Workplace Innovation: Recruitment, training, and retention strategies for aging workers, addressing ageist stereotypes, and fostering collaboration for enhanced productivity.                            
  • Enabling Technologies: Robotics, AR (what does this stand for?), telehealth, wearables, and games to improve eldercare and well-being in an aging society.
  • Community Connections: Build social capital and reduce stress through community connections and nature-based interventions.
  • Health & Wellness: Strengthening healthcare and support systems and promote a longer and healthier "health span" for aging individuals.
