The first gathering of the Faculty Sustainability Champions group is on Thursday, October 3, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All faculty are welcome to join anytime. This is an open group. You don’t have to know anything about sustainability, we hope to see you sometime this year.

At this session, we will spend time actively working on a plan for 19/20 to continue adding to our toolkits for teaching and incorporating sustainability knowledge and practices into the classroom. Have you heard of, or taught using the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) before? Have you made your course paperless? Have you taught a class outdoors before? Would you like to hear from others that have done those things? We want to hear your ideas and share experiences.
