Guided Honey Tasting Workshop: Become a Honey Connoisseur

The Urban Toronto Beekeepers Association and Humber Arboretum are pleased to present a one-day workshop exploring the flavourful world of honey! Topics covered will include the science of honey, tasting methodology including tasting wheels, varietal vs multifloral honey, and pairing foods with honey.   

Workshop leader Dan Douma has over a decade of beekeeping experience and is now a Provincial Bee Inspector, an instructor with the Toronto Beekeepers Collective, and a founding partner of Humble Bee, a Hamilton-based urban beekeeping company.

Fee: $95 for one-day workshop, includes lunch of gourmet soup and sandwiches*
