The Math & Writing Centre, in collaboration with the Centre for Urban Ecology, is pleased to announce a special edition of our Nature Conversation Circle celebrating Halloween. Think pumpkins, owls, bats and more!
Taking place in the Humber Arboretum at the North Campus on Friday, October 31 at 1 p.m., this free event offers English language learners a chance to practice their listening and speaking skills and to build their vocabulary on topics related to nature and Halloween.
The sessions will be co-hosted by one of our writing tutors and CUE staff and will take place in the CUE building in the heart of the Arboretum.
We ask students interested in joining the session to scan the QR code in the attached poster to sign up, and then to show up at the North Campus Math & Writing Centre on the third floor of the LRC no later than 12:30 p.m. on October 31. The host tutor will then walk with the students to the CUE building and set up the Nature Conversation Circle upon arrival.
Please share the poster and let students know about this new opportunity for engagement and discovery.
