Humber College has endorsed the federal government’s new Dimensions: Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Canada Charter.
An official signing of the Charter will also include Chris Whitaker, Humber President & CEO; Nancy Simms, Director, Centre for Human Rights, Equity & Diversity; and John Walsh, Vice-Provost, University of Guelph-Humber.

The Charter seeks to address systemic barriers in postsecondary education and research, particularly those experienced by members of underrepresented or disadvantaged groups, including but not limited to, women, Indigenous peoples, people with disabilities, members of visible minority/racialized groups and members of the LGBTQ2+ communities.
