Hues of Happiness: The Palettes of Identity

About the Gala

"Hues of Happiness: The Palettes of Identity" is an event that showcases the artistic works of Rina Kazavchinski. A gala and exhibit will take place at the University of Guelph-Humber Art Gallery.

The gala is free and will take place on Thursday, March 21 from 5 to 9 p.m.

After the gala, the decorations and engagement elements will be removed and the free exhibit will be open to guests from March 22 to 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is closed on Sundays.

On the gala opening night, the art gallery will be minimalistically decorated using light tones of lilac, dark tones of teal, and white. It will be done in a way that highlights the artwork and creates a welcoming ambiance. There will also be four engagement elements, including a virtual reality art experience, a display of the tools used in the artwork, a wall for guests to express themselves, and an artwork that guests can touch and feel the textures of the piece. In addition, there will be jazz music playing, a subtle sweet aroma, and complimentary food and beverages.
