Humber Arboretum Nature Camp - Nature in the City (Ages 5 to 14)

Let your kids get outside and discover nature in the city!

Humber Arboretum day camps are based out of the Centre for Urban Ecology, but campers spend most of their time outdoors where they make their own discoveries in the forest, river, meadows, wetlands, gardens, and ponds of the Humber Arboretum.

Every week at Humber Arboretum Nature Camp includes nature walks, pond discovery, art and ecology, camp songs and games, and indoor swimming on Fridays. The weekly theme inspires other activities:

Nature in the City - Monday, July 24 to Friday, July 28, 2023

From wildlife to wildflowers there’s wealth of nature to be found right here in Toronto. This week campers will take a close look at the places, plants, and animals in the city, and develop a new appreciation for the nature all around them.

Special Guests: Learn about the work of the Toronto Wildlife Centre and meet Hotdog the Common Snapping Turtle.
