The new Humber Food Learning Garden is a space for students and community members to learn about sustainable urban agriculture, local food security, and how to grow and harvest their own fresh, healthy food in whatever space is available to them. On August 14, join Humber Arboretum staff and special guests for the official opening of the garden.
- Enjoy hors d'oeuvres created by Humber College Culinary students using ingredients from the garden
- Listen to live music performed by Humber College Creative and Performing Arts students
- Take a tour of the food garden with Arboretum greenhouse technician and edible horticulture expert Valeria Wuschnakowski
All are welcome.
