Let's come together with writer, spoken word poet, arts educator, and wellness consultant Igho Diana, in the second workshop of this series "I am: Poetry". This workshop will be a spoken word writing workshop exploring elements of written and performance poetry as a creative practice. Participants will learn different writing techniques for self-reflection; the art of storytelling; and performance-based poetry as tools for building self-confidence and self-efficacy.

Over the last 10 years as a spoken word poet and 5 years as a facilitator, Igho has mastered the art of storytelling and community building. Join us for this creative wellness workshop as Igho walks us through self and community care using the art of poetry, and the written word.

Materials required for this workshop are:

  • A writing utensil (pen/pencil), paper, and yourself

This is a free event.
