Indigenous Education & Engagement - Career Month Events

We'll be hosting a series of information sessions and workshops to connect students with leaders in different career fields. We will have Miziwe Biik, imagineNATIVE, Toronto Police Services, and Canada Revenue Agency joining us.

Toronto Police Information Session on Friday, March 12 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

  • An understanding of the Toronto Police Service’s recruitment process for uniform and civilian opportunities
  • Insight and advice on how to apply and prepare for each stage of the recruitment process
  • The Aboriginal Peacekeeping Unit presentation

Indigenous Tax Workshop on Monday, March 15 from 3 to 4 p.m.

  • Students will learn more about ways to file taxes, questions about tax returns, and much more
