Humber Music Presents JAZZ NIGHT on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the beautiful Humber Cultural Hub Recital Hall, to kick off this season's Student Showcase Concerts series. The concert will feature the fast-paced virtuosity of the Bebop Ensemble (directed by Jazz guitarist and faculty member Lucian Gray) and the thrilling, fulsome sound of the 18-piece Jazz Big Band (directed by Jazz composer, trombonist and faculty member Christian Overton). Audiences will be treated to an exciting program of bebop from the 1930’s and ‘40’s era of Jazz, followed by Big Band classics from Count Basie to Ella Fitzgerald to modern Canadian works in jazz and beyond.
