Join Us for Humber's Moosehide Campaign Flag Raising

Humber Polytechnic is proud to participate in the Moosehide Campaign, an Indigenous-led movement dedicated to ending violence against women and children. The campaign calls on men and boys to stand up and take action against gender-based violence, fostering a safer and more respectful community for all.

What is Moosehide Campaign Day? Moosehide Campaign Day is a nationwide initiative that engages Canadians in ceremonies, fasts, and educational activities to raise awareness and take tangible steps towards ending violence against women and children. Wearing a moosehide pin signifies a personal commitment to honour, respect, and protect the women and children in your life

Flag Raising Ceremony: Join us for the flag raising ceremony at Humber on May 14 from 2 to 2:30 p.m. This event will include a brief introduction to the Moosehide Campaign, followed by the raising of the flag in solidarity with the campaign's goals.
