Kijiji Cha Upendo – Video Screening

Kijiji Cha Upendo Children’s Project – Video Screening
The story of an exemplary grassroots organization, responding to crisis through capacity-building and community development.

In collaboration with the Faculty of Social & Community Services and Kijiji Cha Upendo, Digital Learning’s Creative Productions team invites you to the public screening of the Kijiji mini-docuseries. By documenting the incredible accomplishments of the Kenyan-based children’s project, led by Leonora & Andrew Obara, the series will provide you with a glimpse of life in Kibera, Kenya, and will help you develop an awareness and appreciation for international grassroots organizations, how they respond to a global crisis, and how Kijiji Cha Upendo is leading a visionary model of support which is deserving of recognition from the international community.

Join us for a preview of this incredible 5-part video series. There will be refreshments and warm bites.
