Humber Lakeshore Campus
3199 Lake Shore Blvd. West (one block west of Kipling Avenue)
When: Saturday, April 2, 2011, 8:00pm
Why:
Because MacDonald, on sax, has assembled an extraordinary group of talented jazz artists including P.J. Perry on alto sax, Rob Smith and Joe Sullivan on trumpet, Pat LaBarbera on tenor sax, Terry Promane on trombone, Lorne Lofsky on guitar, and Neil Swainson on bass.
Because the orchestra will play new music by MacDonald as well as a commissioned suite by renowned Montreal composer and arranger Joe Sullivan.
Because at $20 (general) and $10 (senior) it۪s an amazing deal.
Because you don۪t have to go downtown to hear great jazz.
