The Land Teaches Us: (Re)storying Pedagogy and Practice Through Etuaptmumk - Two-Eyed Seeing Workshop

Learn more about co-learning from and with the Land, grounded in the principles of Etuaptmumk - Two-Eyed Seeing (in the Mi'kmaq language).

Through both Indigenous and non-Indigenous perspectives, Two-Eyed Land-based play and co-learning supports the growth of respectful, reciprocal and responsible relationships with places, plant-life and animals for the benefit of all. This Early Childhood Education (ECE) nature-based play course is a finalist for the Canadian Museum of Nature's 2022 Nature Inspiration Awards.

Louise Zimanyi and Lynn Short will facilitate a virtual workshop on November 23, 2022 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m to inspire faculty to incorporate land-based play, Indigenous perspectives, and sustainability values into their own courses.
