The latest Issue of the Humber Literary Review (HLR) is set to launch at 7 p.m. on Monday, January 27, at the Piston (937 Bloor St. W--an accessible venue near Ossington Station). The launch will include readings (and music) featured in Volume 8, Issue 1. Copies and subscriptions will be available for purchase. (The HLR will also be available at local bookstores shortly.)

Admission is free.

The HLR publishes writing from established writers alongside work by new and emerging voices. Interviews, book reviews, Canadian art and comics are also included. Work from the HLR has been featured in Best Canadian Poetry, Best Canadian Essays, and has been nominated for a National Magazine Award.
