Lunch and Learn: The Unruly Arb – Pests, Poisons, and Prickly Things

Take part in a lunch hour walk to learn about the more "unruly" elements of the Humber Arboretum.

With the warmer weather comes many great opportunities to get outside, but it also brings out the wild parsnip, poison ivy, and biting insects! Join Jimmy Vincent, the Humber Arboretum's Coordinator of Education, Camps and Community Outreach, to discover the fascinating nuances of these minor nuisances.

Lunch and Learns at the Humber Arboretum’s Centre for Urban Ecology offer free introductions to topics related to gardening, ecology, and sustainability. This session will be an outdoor tour, weather permitting. Bring your (portable!) lunch and enjoy a casual learning environment.

When Thursday April 25, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
