Management Essentials Program

Purpose of the program:
This program introduces the fundamentals of effective leadership for great success in a manageable timeframe of three (3) days. The content provides the concepts and practices of leadership in a high-impact learning environment thereby assisting leaders to effectively coach, empower and lead individuals and teams to higher levels of performance.

Target group**:
Associate Directors, Associate Deans, Managers
** Recommended individuals have a minimum of 6-12 months in current role and must have direct report approval to enrol

Management Essentials Certification:

Registation
Note: Need to register approximately one month prior
Pre-work one month prior to course
Complete Everything DISC profile, 360 Peer Review Assessment
and PNA (Personal Needs Assessment)
Active Leadership Program Modules
Set and communicate clear goals
Manage team performance
Coach and develop people
Lead by example

  • Day One – Everything DISC for Managers
    Date: Tuesday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    Location: North Campus, B211
  • Day Two and Three – Active Leadership Workshop
    Date: May 14 and 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    Location: North Campus, E422
