The linguistic and cultural diversity of Humber’s student population contributes to the overall vibrancy of Humber, yet it also poses challenges for educators who require a greater understanding of how to meet the needs of their multilingual and culturally diverse students. Meeting the needs of multilingual and international students requires educators to be sensitive and responsive to the unique differences of each student, and a willingness to implement instruction, communication and learning through a more inclusive type of pedagogy.
