Researchers! Join us to learn more about NSERC’s Applied Research and Development (ARD) grants to support research and development (R&D) projects led by college researchers in partnership with private sector, public sector or not-for-profit organizations based in Canada while encouraging collaboration with universities and/or other colleges. This opportunity allows the development and strengthening of research links and collaborations between different institutions and/or partners that have a common goal of creating economic, social and/or environmental benefits while contributing to the research ecosystem continuum.

Facilitator Bio:

Raeshelle Morris-Griffith is an Innovation Program Manager for the Office of Research & Innovation at Humber College. She holds a Masters in Leadership from the University of Guelph, a double major honours Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Organizational Studies from the University of Western Ontario and is also a certified project manager (PMP). She is trained in Creative Problem Solving, Values-Based Innovation through Values- Perspectives, Design Thinking, Change Management and Human-Centred Design. She has also obtained her Black Belt in Innovation Strategy Management through Innovation 360, which has equipped her to facilitate organizational design and transformation.

Juan Felipe Garcia An engineer by education, Felipe attained his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Los Andes, Colombia, in 2018. His desire to pursue Project Management and his enthusiasm to explore the world beyond Colombia landed him in Canada in December 2019. He then acquired his post-graduate certificate in Project Management from Centennial College School of Business, Ontario, in 2020. Juan joined the ORI team as a Project Analyst, NSERC in 2022.
