NURSES OF UBUNTU LAUNCHED BY L SPACE GALLERY OF HUMBER COLLEGE LAKESHORE CAMPUS

The L Space Gallery will open a unique exhibition: Nurses of Ubuntu, The Power of Human-ness.

Nursing students in the School of Health Science, Humber College have been exploring concepts of cultural awakening and civic engagement, not in a classroom environment, but by travelling to Tanzania and Jamaica and working with local communities.

Their journey has been captured through the lens of a camera as they stumbled upon and discovered Ubuntu. The exhibited body of work captures the images of these nursing students as they experience togetherness, honor compassion, allow tolerance and propagate harmony.
