Online Module for Faculty on GenAI

We are excited to announce that the online module Teaching Students to Research & Write with Integrity in the Digital Age is now open and available for all teachers at Humber College. This module is the result of the Academic Plan Priority 3 Projects and was a collaborative effort between the Faculty of Health Sciences & Wellness, Humber Libraries, the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Science, Student Success & Engagement, and Educational Support and Digital Innovations (ESDI). It is meant for those teachers who would consider themselves still novices at working with generative artificial intelligence (genAI) in learning settings.

The module is intended to support the development of faculty’s knowledge and understanding of how to engage with genAI to support students in harnessing new and emerging technologies to support their learning and digital fluency. You can access the online module here Teaching Students To Research & Write With Integrity In The Digital Age – A Faculty Program | Academic Division (humber.ca) Please enter the password genai_humber.

If you would like to learn more about the module you can attend an information session on February 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or February 8 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. through Microsoft Teams. If interested in attending please contact Jennie Miron at jennie.miron@humber.ca.
