Jane Doe
Feminist Activist, Community Organizer, Author (The Story of Jane Doe)

Drawing from her own experience as well as research and theory, Jane Doe will speak about institutional barriers in policing, the media, health, education and the law that
prevent meaningful discourse and resolution regarding the crime of sexual assault. She will discuss the use and efficacy of police warnings, the sexual assault evidence kit, the trial process, and other responses which contribute to gender and race inequality, rape mythology, and an abysmally low conviction rate nationally.
