Pride Parade March

Join Humber's LGBTQ+ Resource Centre as we march in the Toronto Pride Parade on Sunday June 29, 2025.

This event is open to all students, staff, faculty, and Alumni of Humber Polytechnic and Guelph Humber. Marching in the pride parade is a powerful way to show solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community and to advocate for their rights. It allows individuals to come together and celebrate diversity, while also raising awareness about the ongoing struggles and discrimination faced by the community. It also provides an opportunity for allies to show their support and become active participants in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights.

Registered participants will receive a LGBTQ+ Resource Centre t-shirt and will be invited to the LGBTQ+ Resource Centre Pride Tye-Dye and Sign Making Party where you have the opportunity to decorate your shirt that you can then wear when marching. Please be sure to indicate your T-shirt size when registering.

The LGBTQ+ Resource Centre is also marching in the Trans March (June 27) and Dyke March (June 28). If you are interested in joining us for those marches as well please be sure to register for each event you wish to attend.

*One final note is a reminder that these are very large public events that are not hosted by Humber Polytechnic - rather are hosted by Pride Toronto with us attending as participants. There will be Humber LGBTQ+ Resource Centre staff attending these events to help coordinate participants but folks should come to events with all necessary supplies and be aware that there will be extremely large crowds during the events. Such large events come with inherent risks and by signing up for this event you are agreeing to fully accept these risks yourself. During the parade photos will be taken- if you would like to not appear in the photos please notify staff on the day of the event.
