Every November is Indigenous Education Month. During this month, various events and workshops take place each in-person and online. The major event that takes place annually is the Indigenous Knowledges Gathering (IKG), offering an opportunity to learn about Indigenous ways of being, knowing and doing.

This year’s IKG will bring together a diverse array of storytellers with the theme "What Our Ancestors Know: Teaching and Learning through Storytelling". Attendees will be able to hear the unique perspectives and traditional knowledges that exist across Indigenous nations at this year's gathering. This event offers insights for members of the Humber community and beyond.
