The Idea Lab at Humber Downtown is both a hub for passion projects and a teaching and learning resource. Whether you’re pursuing a personal idea, integrating digital media into your courses, or designing innovative assignments, the Idea Lab offers the tools, technology, and expertise to bring your vision to life.

With professional audio equipment, lending kits, and virtual support, the Idea Lab can help you:

• Incorporate media projects into your assignments (e.g., podcasts, interviews, voiceovers, digital storytelling).
• Provide students with hands-on experience using industry-standard equipment.
• Enhance course delivery by leveraging Idea Lab tools and expertise.
• Collaborate with Idea Lab staff to explore new approaches to digital and experiential learning.

The Idea Lab is a Library initiative. Idea Lab studios are available at Humber Downtown (IGS613), North Campus (LRC 3rd floor), and Lakeshore (G Building).
