Professors and other staff who have direct contact with students – please share with them about TTC Photo ID Day and the discounts available on public transit.

Did you know that full-time students can save on their TTC monthly pass?

Post-secondary students with a TTC-issued photo ID can save about $28 every month on Toronto transit!

Students can get their TTC Post-Secondary Photo ID at Bathurst Station or on the following days on campus:

  • North Campus - September 24 at LRC Concourse, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Lakeshore Campus - September 26 at L Building, room L1017 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • IGS Students can find information about a TTC Photo ID Office visit on the IGS Portal

What to bring when getting a TTC Post-Secondary Photo ID

  • Proof of full-time enrollment at Humber College, which can be accessed on MyHumber
  • School or government issued photo ID
  • $7 in cash

Under 19 years old? Students can benefit from the Youth Fare.

For those who are 19 and under, there’s a discounted Monthly Pass for $128.15 and pay-as-you-go fare is also lower at $2.25. This discount is based on age and has nothing to do with school status and so it does not require a TTC Photo ID. To get this deal, simply visit a Shoppers Drug Mart with your PRESTO card and a piece of Government Photo ID containing date of birth. The employees at Shoppers will then program the PRESTO card with your birthdate, allowing you to enjoy a pay-as-you-go discount or you can choose to purchase a monthly pass.
