Support Your Students with the “Recognize, Respond and Support Learners in Distress” Workshop

The Student Well-being and Equitable Learning (SWEL) Team is excited to offer the Recognize, Respond, and Support Learners in Distress Workshop (RRS) for Humber staff and faculty! Whether you are interacting with learners in the classroom, during office hours, or other campus spaces, this 2.5-hour interactive training will equip you with the valuable skills to identify signs of distress, respond effectively and empathetically, and connect learners with appropriate resources.

This session will be offered on Wednesday, July 9 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Microsoft Teams. If you would like to join, please reach out to krista.elliott-shahid@humber.ca and she will follow up with a meeting invite.
