Survivors' Flag Raising

The Indigenous Education & Engagement team invites you to attend the Survivors' Flag Raising Ceremony.

The Survivors’ Flag is a powerful symbol of remembrance, created to honour Residential School Survivors and the countless lives and communities affected by the Indian Residential School System in Canada. Every element on the flag was thoughtfully chosen by Survivors from across the country, who were consulted throughout its design process.

The ceremony will take place at the base of the flagpoles in front of the LRC at North Campus, where we will gather for speeches and the raising of the flag.

We hope you will join us in this meaningful moment of reflection and recognition.
