Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Launch

The Office of Sustainability and Community Outreach Workplace Development (COWD), in partnership with Foundation for Environmental Stewardship, are hosting a two-day event, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Launch, on Monday, March 22 to Tuesday, March 23.

The SDGs Launch event presents students and community partners the opportunity to learn how to achieve the United Nations’ (UN) 17 SDGs, engage with a UN speaker, create change to build movement and take action, and network with like-minded peers.

At this event, students will have the chance to:

  • Develop a deeper understanding of the SDGs
  • Interact with UN officials who are implementing the SDGs around the world
  • Gain practical skills to advocate and implement the SDGs locally
  • Receive a certificate of training completion to add to your resume

Interested staff and faculty are invited to participate in the two-day SDGs launch event.

Please register for the event here.

In addition, faculty are encouraged to link the SDGs launch poster to Blackboard and encourage students to register for this unique opportunity. If you have any questions, contact sustainability@humber.ca
