Sustainable Urban Beekeeping Celebration and Info Session

It's been over five years since Sustainable Urban Beekeeping courses started up at the Humber Arboretum, and it's time to celebrate!

Current and past learners, along with the anyone who is interested in finding out more about the program, are all invited to come out for a meet and mingle event at Humber College North Campus. Beekeeping instructors Fran Freeman and John Coffman will speak about their experiences and the program itself, Arboretum Manager Jimmy Vincent will share the history of beekeeping at the Arboretum, then all guests will have a chance to mingle, catch-up, ask questions, and enjoy refreshments.

When: Saturday, December 2, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Please note this event is taking place in room 132 of T-Building (the residence building beside the Arboretum's main entrance) NOT in the Centre for Urban Ecology.

How: This event is free but pre-registration by 11 p.m. on November 29 is required. Please reserve your ticket on Eventbrite.
