You are invited to join us for a dynamic and interesting session titled Teaching Post-Secondary Writing in an AI Era: Strategies for Integrity and Human Skill Development. Dr. Olga Klymenko will join us on Wednesday, February 25 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
This presentation examines practical approaches to supporting post-secondary writers in an AI-enhanced environment while safeguarding essential human skills. Drawing on a year of classroom experience integrating generative AI into instruction and assessment, this presentation outlines how these tools have been used, evaluates their pedagogical impact, and reflects on the emerging challenges for learning motivation and academic integrity.
Through discussions, hands‑on activities, and engaging with real instructional dilemmas, participants will explore practical ways to encourage integrity‑focused, human‑centered writing habits in an AI‑rich learning environment.
